VISITORS

The Mid Ocean Club is a private member's club with not only a first class golf course, but also excellent facilities that include 20 guest cottages for our members and their guests. Visitors are most welcome as outlined below, subject to some restrictions.
 

                    

 

OPEN DAYS
Visitors are welcome to play the course on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For more information and to make a booking please contact our Golf Shop (441) 293-1215 or email our Director of Golf, Kevin Benevides,
(kbenevides@moc.bm). Tee times may be booked up to three months in advance (subject to certain restrictions).

 

GREEN FEES
18 Holes $250 per round
We accept all major credit cards, local checks drawn on Bermuda banks or cash.

CORPORATE OUTINGS
Local or overseas groups are most welcome to play on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays and we are able to accommodate (subject to availability) shotgun starts for the larger groups. Our golf shop staff are always available to assist with tournament administration.

We are also able to help organize your whole day and our Food and Beverage department can assist with refreshments, lunches and dinners for your group. For more information please contact our events team on (441) 293-5822 Ext. 251 or email

CADDIES
Our caddies are extremely knowlegeable and will add to the enjoyment of your round, particularly for the first time visitors. Please let us know in advance if you would like a caddy as our caddies are self-employed so we cannot always guarantee availability. Please note that caddies must be paid directly in cash at the end of your round.

CADDIE FEES
Single: $65 per bag plus gratuities
Double: $55 per bag plus gratuities
Fore Caddy: $20 per person

EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Golf Clubs: $52 (Taylor Made)
Shoes: $12  (Adidas Men's Only)
Pull Carts: $12
Electric Golf Cart with GPS: $32


SPEED OF PLAY
We expect a four ball to play the course in four hours. The ranger has complete authority to ask players to move along if they are not keeping up with the group in front or if substantial gaps develop inbetween groups. The ranger is also there to ensure that golf carts remain on the cart paths at all time.

DRESS CODE
Mens and Ladies - proper golf attire.
All Shirts must have collars.
No short shorts or cargo shorts.

 
Clubhouse Facilities

DINING
Visitors are most welcome to join us for lunch or drinks in the Clubhouse before or after their round.

DRESS CODE
a.  Blue denim is not permitted anywhere in the Clubhouse or the Beach Pavilion.
b.  Golf Shoes may not be worn in any dining areas of the Clubhouse, including the Churchill Bar and should be left in    the Locker Rooms before and after play. Members and their guests are however expected to wear shoes in the Clubhouse at all times – bare feet or socks only are not acceptable.
c.  Men are to remove hats in the Clubhouse. 
d.  After 7.00 p.m. appropriate attire for the Clubhouse is jacket and tie (preferred) or smart casual.  Bermuda dress shorts with knee socks is acceptable attire. Other shorts, casual sandals and other casual wear are not acceptable.

LOCKERS
Guest lockers are available in both the men's and ladies locker rooms. Keys are available from the Golf Shop.  Both locker rooms are fully equipped with shower facilities and shoe cleaning is provided by the Locker Room Attendant.

HALFWAY HOUSE
We have a fully stocked HWH with alcoholic and soft beverages, refreshments, golf balls, sun lotion and cigars.

DRIVING RANGE & PRACTICE FACILITIES
We have a full driving range (20 plus bays), a putting green, a pitching and chipping green and a large practice bunker. Club restrictions for regular golf balls apply for clubs higher than a 7 iron.
